Very nice quaint little place, I would suggest it for a young couple with children. The bed was kinda small, so it would be great for cuddling... Very clean, and love the little fire pit out side.
Great service, perfect location to feel like you are not near a military post and escape for a while. Facilities are more than suitable for your camping needs. ...minus propane, make sure you fill up before coming to the local area.
Our 2 bedroom cabin was so cozy and well equipped for a weekend visit. Too many amenities at this family campground to list. Perfect for an overnight to longer term stays.
We stay here for a few weeks during Alabama’s hunting season; love it love it love it! Second season, will be coming back as long as we are able. All camp sites are roomy, full hookups, with cable (however not very good, we seem to get better digital connection for that occasional college game), they do have WiFi with intermittent internet connection (we just use our own hotspot when needed), bathrooms with good hot showers, lots of places to explore and walk with our dogs. All the staff are friendly and we have met many wonderful families/retirees/hunters; and of course many deer around us looking for those deer corn treats!
Very well organized!! They even have generators and do recycling. The staff takes pride in their job. The whole place was well thought out and it has a good flow in the systemantic order of the park. The management handle themselves in a professional matter. I would recommend this camp site to EVERYONE, single, retired or families. Thank you Uchee staff for my pleasant and relaxing stay. The place is beautiful and includes the staff!
