This has been the WORST place we have ever lived. The lady who has "owned" this place since we have lived here, is wrapped up in a TON of legal issues, and the park is currently being court awarded to another agent. The lady who has been the owner has been unfaithful in land management and property management. We have had RAW SEWAGE in our yard for several months, and she was aware of it and kept firing maintenance and management crews, due to her own selfish reasons, and the sewage NEVER got cleaned up. We have had non-stop plumbing and septic issues living here. In February 2014, our pipes busted TWO TIMES under the mobile home and completely flooded our yard, to the point where it took a month or so for it to dry up, and we were WITHOUT WATER and PLUMBING for 2 weeks, yet, she tried to stick us with a water bill stating that we had used a full month's supply of water. Our mobile home we rent was completely trashed when we moved in and management did not have it prepared for us and did not get it prepared for us before move in, so we spent 4 hrs of our own time cleaning it before we could even move in. We even had to rent another day on our Uhaul because we were unable to unload it right away. We have lived here since August 2013 and have been disgusted by it the whole time. When we moved in, the mobile home had been stripped of fixtures, so we paid out of pocket to replace them and were told by management at the time that we would be reimbursed and never were. Several former residents have tried to get their security deposits back and have never received them even after "perfect" inspections. THIS PLACE IS NOT AN AUTHORIZED RENTAL FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL AT FT. BENNING, regardless of the name. We found this out after we rented here and were told, by management, that this was an approved rental site for military families. After calling Ft. Benning housing office on post, I found out that this was NOT an approved site and actually, NO MOBILE HOME site is approved for military rentals. DO NOT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU. This mobile home park has NOTHING to do with Ft. Benning and is not approved by Ft. Benning. Pretty much ever renter has been screwed over in renting here. I am sure we will not receive our deposit back unless we take it to court, which we do plan to do if it becomes necessary. I have researched Alabama state laws on tenant and landlord responsibilities that Legal Aid has posted online, and I have researched the Fair Housing laws, so I'm very knowledgeable in our rights as tenants here. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME, AGONY AND MONEY and don't rent here....UNTIL the court-awarded owners get this legal mess cleared up. The new owners are really nice people, but they have a huge mess to clean up here. It's not worth it to rent here at this moment. Maybe in the future....
